Guthrie Construction and Design Biography
 Allen
Guthrie developed Guthrie Construction over 30 years ago. He
was a framer and finish carpenter for over 20 years before he became
a "Custom Home Builder." He has built many Parade of Homes for
some of the largest custom contractors and know the value of
reputation and quality. By being in the hands on building of
homes, Allen has learned and developed a knowledge of solid
construction practices that is unsurpassed in this area. He
began building Custom Homes nine (9) years ago. His reputation
for honest and integrity is unsurpassed.
Allen graduated
from Texas A & M University in 1967, has been on the Board of
Directors of the Home Builders Association for the past eight
(8) years, Treasurer for 1996, Vice President in 1997, President in
1998, Builder of the Year in 1998, State Director and Vice-Chairman
for 2001, and Chairman for 2002 of the Construction Industry
Licensing Board.
Allen's son Brian
joined the company in 1995 and received his Builder's License in
2000. Brian has developed his own style, custom market and can
also meet your small commercial needs. Together their
personalized service will assist in developing your house plans,
interior finishes and coordination to ensure our home meets their
high standards of quality.
